About WaterMark Marine and ClassXBoats WaterMark Marine manufacturers custom, "make-to-order," high performance sport boats. You tell us what you want and we'll build it . . .your way. We utilize Twenty-First Century composite construction techniques and materials to achieve super light weight, glass-to-resin ratios and superior structural integrity. Greater horsepower-to-weight ratios translates to better fuel economy and quicker performance. Although our experience with jet boat design and technology spans more than forty years, we also offer other marine drive systems. Founders, Neil Clark and Ron Wingfield, collectively have over seventy years total experience on the table. Prefer something other than a jet drive? . . .let's talk about stern drive I/O engine options that you won't find on most dealer showroom floors. You don't have to settle for the all-black diesel trawler engine look-a-like. WMI is an Arkansas corporation, and we operate a custom shop and fabrication facility, with approximately eight thousand square feet of product and engineering space. We have recently installed a thirty-foot semi-downdraft spray and gellcoating booth that enables us to control the chemistry and produce superior surface finishes, whether post-paint or gellcoating is required. We build variants of the classic eighteen and nineteen foot, California style, low profile high-performance boats, powered by many optional combinations of engine power and marine drive systems . . .I/O, jet and outboard. Ask us about our current experiments with the "Corvette style" LS6 GM Vortec crate engine. The popularity of the personal water craft, such as the SeaDoo and Kawasaki's original Jet Ski and WaveRunner have demonstrated that marine water-jet propulsion is a safe and dependable system. New technologies have had a tremendous impact on the design possibilities for jet boat construction and WaterMark's ClassX line, with optional marine jet propulsion, delivers superior jet performance. Frankly, no SeaDoo can touch us. Period! New Product Announcements In addition to our eighteen foot ClassX line, WMI has tooling for twelve and fourteen foot craft. Details regarding the configuration of these craft will be announced at a future date. We are currently researching the introduction of a 100% duty cycle electric craft that will operate for approximately six hours on a fully charged battery. This stylish craft (this is no tubby water taxi) will have yacht tending and marina excursion capability, with ease of operation and silence comparable to an electrice golf cart. |
